'We went to the animal orphanage today and I adopted three baby elephants. I am a mom,' she said tearfully, obviously overwhelmed by the significance that the action brought.
The significance, as we were later reminded by Paula Kahumbu (Hands Off Our Elephants lady), was that if we are not careful, in 10 years, we will have no elephants.
Bai Ling is in Kenya to support the Hands off Our Elephants campaign, along with Christie Brinkley (supermodel and actress), who also attended the dinner. Christie Brinkley was not left behind, as she also confessed that she had mothered five elephants!
