Didge to release song with Wyre

Mellow voiced R&B and Soul singer Didge is back on the music scene and although he says he never quite left, he calls it a “comeback of sorts.”

“I never left the industry, for a while now people have been seeing me as a solo artiste who works alone but that’s about to change. I've worked with 125, Calvo Mistari and right now I’m in the process of shooting a video with Wyre for a song that we have worked on together.

Didge says the collaborations are a way of stretching his talents but adds that he will still release more solo singles. What about the new age talent cropping up every other day, is that a threat to a pioneer like him?

“Mi ni Ule msee (I’m that guy),” he says and adds “Once you know what you are doing, there’s no threat or pressure. I’m in love with new singers and performers. The industry is not just about the glam and fame, that’s why I always embrace the opportunity to educate and enlighten the up and coming musicians.”
