The school’s director, Ms Mary Muthoni Jason, said she was touched when she heard that the star actor came from a needy family and wanted to help her to nurture her talent.

She said the school would cater for her primary and secondary education costs.

NO TROUBLE

“It is a great opportunity to sponsor the little girl to achieve her dreams and goals,” said Ms Jason.

At the school, the little girl had no trouble mingling with her new mates and joined them in singing. Her mother, Ms Elizabeth Njoki, who accompanied her to the school, said she was grateful for the sponsorship.

She said the school had been looking forward to receiving the talented girl since April when she was offered the opportunity.
