Boyz II Men to give Kenya a miss

Boyz II Men: They will be in TZ and UG early next month. Photo/www/myspace.com

Boyz II Men will be coming to East Africa in December, but Kenya is missing from the group’s itinerary.

The US band will be the main act at the Likizo Tyme concert at the Leaders club in Dar es Salaam on December 5.

They will  then head to Kampala, Uganda’s Lugogo grounds for another concert on December 6. The concerts are part of efforts to hype their latest album, Motown

The group comprising Nathan Morris, Wanya Morris and Shawn Stockman, is renowned for songs like End Of The Road, I’ll Make Love To You, Bended Knees and Song For Mama.

Although the trio will not be coming to Kenya, we still have something musical to look forward to as a splinter group of the famous British reggae group UB40 is to stage a concert in Nairobi on November 29.

The performance by the group led by Ali Campbell will take place at the Carnivore.

Many can discern Campbell’s vocals in heats like Red Red Wine, Don’t Break My Heart and Can’t Help Falling In Love.
