Attention Nick Mutuma fans: the man once ranked as “one of the sexiest actors in Kenya” might just show up in the upcoming fifth season of the hit MTV drama series 'Shuga'.
Although not yet confirmed, it is a possibility that he will be back a fifth time.
“I’m still in negotiations and that’s all I can say about that,” he told Showbuzz, “but it’s going to be the biggest one yet, I can tell you that for sure.”
Mutuma says the show, which centres on the youth and risky sexual behaviour empowered him not only in his career as an actor but in his personal life.
“I got tested for HIV after the first season because I could relate to so many characters in the show. It’s an important thing to do which empowered me and besides, it promotes trust in the relationship,” he said.
Mutuma is also cast in a romantic comedy television series called “This is it” with Nigerian actor Chiagoziem Nwakwanma about a young newlywed couple.
