DP Rigathi Gachagua impeachment motion tabled

Members of Parliament gathered in Parliament Tuesday where Speaker Moses Wetang’ula approved a motion for impeachment of Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, saying all 11 grounds meet the constitutional threshold.

The motion was tabled by Kibwezi West MP Mwengi Mutuse.

Mr Mutuse said 291 MPs signed the petition to remove the DP from office by impeachment.
