OLX and property firm in discount deal for agents

Online classifieds platform OLX and real estate firm Property 24 will offer discounts to property agents posting advertisements for the first time.
New users will enjoy a 50 per cent discount on real estate paid advertisements on OLX for one month and Property 24 featured listings for three months.
Currently, advertising on OLX real estate category costs Sh10,500 a month while Property 24 monthly subscription goes for Sh3,480. Both are owned by Naspers.
OLX head of business development Priscilla Muhiu said real estate is among their strongest category. She said customers will get adverts and featured listings on both platforms.
Property 24 is in eight countries including Kenya, Nigeria and South Africa and serves local as well as diaspora users.
“Buyers looking to buy land, apartments and homes are now searching online first to push sales,” said the Property 24 managing director Mr Kevin Jagona.
