Here’s an Airtel offer that will keep awarding you airtime

By Nation Reporter

What name do they give to the gift that keeps on giving? It could as well be called Airtel Money. Why? Because of Airtel Money’s ‘Rudishiwa Transaction Fee’ offer.

I have gone many times to Airtel Money agents to withdraw cash. No sooner do I receive the hard cash, than a message lands on my phone to inform me that the transaction fees is now mine in the form of Airtel airtime. The Rudishiwa airtime comes faster than Rudisha, the world 800-metre king a few years ago, if you catch my drift, haha.

This is a gift that keeps giving because the more I withdraw cash, the more my airtime increases. That translates to more power to make calls.

Here’s is how I do my math. Withdrawing between Ksh101 and Ksh2,500 on Airtel Money costs Ksh25. The last amount I received through Airtel Money was Ksh1,000. Upon withdrawal, I got a cool Ksh25 to spend in Airtel airtime.

By the way, it is worth mentioning that sending from Airtel Money to Airtel Money is free of charge.

Back to the gift that keeps giving: The trick to having a continuous supply of free airtime is to have as much money as possible coming your way through Airtel Money. I am expecting some Ksh20,000, and I know that as soon as it comes through and I withdraw the money, I will be awarded a cool Ksh150 worth of airtime.

As they say in the streets, I won’t tell you everything. But I suspect I have already. Check out the video below:
