IAAF clears Semenya over gender row

South African athlete Caster Semenya has been given the all-clear to return to competition by the International Amateur Athletics Federation.
The world 800m champion has been out of the sport for 11 months after undergoing gender tests.
"The IAAF accepts the conclusion of a panel of medical experts that she can compete with immediate effect," read a statement from the athletics body.
"Please note that the medical details of the case remain confidential."
IAAF's full s statement posted on its website reads: "The process initiated in 2009 in the case of Caster Semenya (RSA) has now been completed."
"The IAAF accepts the conclusion of a panel of medical experts that she can compete with immediate effect. Please note that the medical details of the case remain confidential and the IAAF will make no further comment on the matter."
