Kenya’s Covid-19 caseload rises to 38,713 as 7 more die

Kenya has recorded 184 new Covid-19 cases from 4,700 samples tested in the past 24 hours. This raised the country’s total caseload to 38,713, Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe has announced.

At the same time, 115 more people have recovered from the disease, raising total recoveries to 25,023. Mr Kagwe said 48 of those who have recovered were in hospitals while 67 were in home-based care.

Seven more patients succumbed to the virus over the same period, bringing total fatalities in Kenya to 718.
