MPs escape unhurt in road accident
Two Members of Parliament escaped unhurt in a road accident at Sugunanga on the Eldoret-Nakuru highway.
Kwanza MP Ferdinand Wanyonyi and his Machakos Town counterpart Victor Munyaka were in a convoy of lawmakers on the parliamentary Agriculture Committee and were on official duty in Uasin Gishu County.
The committee is on a two-day tour of the North Rift region seeking solutions to challenges bedevilling the agriculture sector.
Cereal farmers had petitioned the committee on budgetary allocations to agriculture.
