Netflix, the world’s leading streaming entertainment service, is proud to have offered Kenyan viewers a free plan to sample its extensive library of films and television series over the last two years. However, starting November 1, 2023, the free plan is no longer be available, but the good news is that members can still enjoy their favourite entertainment on Netflix by upgrading to any of the paid plans available in Kenya.

Netflix is always exploring ways to improve members’ experience. We are more committed than ever to delivering an experience that doesn’t just meet but exceeds their expectations. This was evidenced by a recent slash in prices by up to 37 percent to ensure that subscribers can access entertainment for as low as Ksh200 and enjoy their favourite TV shows and movies at an even better value.

Netflix remains committed to delivering a diverse range of content and value to Kenyan subscribers, and has an exciting line-up of local and international entertainment. These include Squid Game: The Challenge; Rebel Moon; Anikulapo: The Series; and Yoh’ Christmas, alongside upcoming licensed Kenyan titles launching on the service between now and December, including the series Volume; Siri (a drama series), An Instant Dad (a drama film); and Villains in the Metropolis (a mystery and crime thriller).
