Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has waded into the controversy sparked by the takeover of tea factories by former Kenya Tea Development Agency (KTDA) directors in a ‘coup’ earlier this week.

Mr Gachagua said the government will not allow ‘some people’ who believe in impunity to destabilise the tea sub-sector by interfering with reforms started by the Uhuru Kenyatta administration.
