Gaming firm MozzartBet on Friday donated football kits to two teams in Imbo, Homa Bay County.

Through the company’s “New jerseys for new champions” initiative, Nyauu FC and Lorateng' FC were fully kitted just like other teams around the country.

"Grassroots football plays a vital role in the football ecosystem by constantly providing raw talent that goes up the chain and therefore it is important for such lower-tier teams to get the necessary support to keep them going," said MozzartBet Kenya Marketing Manager Frank Ochieng.

Ochieng further added that through their water project, they aim at giving back to the society by delivering clean water to the communities with the hope of making a difference like they are doing with football teams.

“This year has been a challenging year to most countries in the world due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Healthcare facilities in Nakuru, Siaya, Kisii, Embu, Nyandarua, Baringo, Bomet, Kisumu, Kakamega and Kitui have all received donations, that included PPEs for frontline professionals, and other assorted medical equipment, but we haven’t stopped there,” added Ochieng.

The firm donated ICU beds, Patient Monitors, Oxygen Concentrators and other critical intensive medical care equipment to the Ngara Health Centre in Nairobi and Chemolingot Sub County Hospital in Tiaty, East Pokot.
