Nairobi Stima on Saturday stunned Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) 2-1 to move second in the National Super League in Naivasha.
The win, which was Stima’s second on the trot, ensured they dislodge KCB from second place on 31 points, one ahead of the bankers who drop to third. Leaders Western Stima are five points ahead of Nairobi Stima as the battle for promotion gathers momentum.

At the Bukhungu Stadium, former Kenyan Premier League (KPL) side City Stars rallied from behind to draw 1-1 with Green Commandoes in a National Super League (NSL).

“The boys stuck to the game plan from the word go. I was impressed with how all the departments coordinated,” said Isibania coach Daniel Mufta after the match.
He added: “This win ends our bad slump giving us a good morale heading into the next game.”
A fourth victory for the Migori County based side this season takes their point tally to 16 as GFE remained rooted in the relegation zone.
