Wambora impeached for the second time
Embu County governor Nyaga Wambora is up for a second impeachment after Members of County Assembly voted overwhelmingly in favour to impeach him.
MCAs sitting in Embu voted to impeach the governor with 23 voting for, 8 against and 2 abstentions.
This comes less than a fortnight after Embu elders called for dialogue as they opposed a plan to move a motion to impeach him after a court reinstated him as Embu governor.
