Covid-19: Kenya records 17 new deaths, 727 cases

The Ministry of Health on Tuesday recorded 17 new Covid-19 fatalities and 727 cases during the past 24 hours.

Chief Administrative Secretary (CAS) for Health Mercy Mwangangi said men accounted for the highest number of the new cases at 458.

Of the new cases 705 were Kenyans and 22 were foreigners. 

Dr Mwangangi said another 806 patients tested negative raising recoveries tally to 52,709.
