Leading boyband Sauti Sol is ending their successful year on an even higher note after renewing their partnership with Chrome Vodka. The deal means the band will continue to be the brand ambassador for the Kenya Breweries Limited’s brand.

KBL and Sauti Sol did not disclose how much money is involved in the deal but it is believed to be lucrative.

The group first signed the deal with Chrome in February which they followed up with an international tour of their album Live and Die in Afrika and featured the alcoholic drink in their Shake Yo Bam Bam video.

However, this time they will conduct a series of nationwide headlining concerts and ground activations.

“The partnership between Sauti Sol and Chrome Vodka is a step in the right direction for Kenya’s music industry. I believe it is the first of many and based on this relationship, corporates and musicians will start many other lasting relationships.

I hope this restores goodwill in the Kenyan music industry, which has sometimes been viewed as non-profitable and incompetent,” said Bien Aime Baraza of Sauti Sol.
