Larry is a Kenya Open Golf Championship Hall of Famer. He is a veteran sports writer with the Nation Media Group, with experience spanning over 40 years initially covering football, athletics, basketball, volley ball and handball, now focusing on golf and horse racing.

He has travelled to many countries in Africa, Asia, America and Europe covering major sporting events particularly in golf.
