Kennedy Kimanthi

Kennedy Kimanthi is a seasoned journalist with a wealth of experience covering Kenya's key regions. He started his career in 2012 as a correspondent in Meru and Nyeri counties where he later rose to a senior correspondent. In 2019, he was appointed Regional Editor incharge of Nyeri bureau, a position he held until he was moved to Mombasa bureau in 2022 where he managed diverse teams and high-profile stories. Currently, Kimanthi oversees the South Rift region. He reports on devolution, governance, politics, culture and agriculture.
