US bans 4 Ugandan police officials, citing rights abuses

 The United States has banned entry to four Uganda Police Force members over their alleged involvement in human rights violations, including torture, the State Department said on Wednesday.

The State Department named the four as Bob Kagarura, Alex Mwine, Elly Womanya and Hamdani Twesigye. It said the ban also applied to their immediate family members.
