Didmus Barasa claims he did not go into hiding to avoid arrest

Kimilili Member of Parliament Didmus Barasa has come out to refute claims that he went into hiding to escape arrest after allegedly shooting dead an aide to his rival Mr Brian Khaemba of DAP-K party on Tuesday evening.

Mr Barasa claims that he left Bungoma for Nairobi to file an application to the High Court to seek anticipatory bail pending his arrest for the shooting incident.
