What you need to know:

  • Shujaa, who had set a target of four tries per match before leaving Nairobi on November 21, will also play USA (2.20pm) and Canada (4.46pm) in Group “B” matches
  • Against Australia, Kenya will hope to replicate the result of their last meeting when they ran out 12-7 winners at the group phase in the South Africa leg in 2019
  • Simiyu noted that they were satisfied with the team’s overall performance in Dubai Sevens I

Kenya Sevens are hoping for a bright start when they take on Australia in the opening match of the second leg of the 2021/22 World Rugby Sevens Series (Dubai Sevens II) on Friday 8.44am.
