Ten Betika National Super League (BNSL) matches are scheduled to be played at different venues in the country on Wednesday.

On form Shabana host Silibwet FC, who have vowed to put up a sterling show in their round 23 match at Migori Stadium.

Shabana, who want their home matches to return to Gusii Stadium, are currently fourth in the league table with 34 points from 22 matches, behind Kisumu All Stars, Kenya Police and leaders FC Talanta.

A win for the Kisii-based side will see them increase their tally to 37 and move to third, depending on the outcome of matches involving All Stars and Police.

League leaders Talanta, under the tutelage of Ken Kenyatta, will be seeking to collect maximum points against Mully Children’s Family (MCF) at Ruaraka in a morning kick-off to maintain their place at the top.

Struggling Modern Coast Rangers, who failed to impress at the weekend losing 3-0 to Kisumu All Stars in Kisumu, will bank on home ground advantage when they host Migori Youth at Serani.

Kibera Black Stars, coached by Elvis Ayany, face Nairobi Stima at Camp Toyoyo in what promises to be a hotly contested encounter.

“We have prepared well for the match as we expect to bang maximum points to keep our hopes of playing in the top league next season,” said the former Ulinzi Stars player.

Coast Stima will seeking to bounce back to winning ways when they take on visiting Vihiga Bullets at Mbaraki from 1pm.

Stima is currently languishing at position 17 in the league table with 25 points with 16 matches left.
