Debutants Loita 11 Brothers recovered from a 1-0 loss to Ololunga FC to beat Chumbek FC by a similar scoreline and reach the finals of Governor’s Cup in Narok.

The youthful side will represent Narok South Sub-County in alongside favourites Ololunga FC in the county finals.

Maa Wolves and Sikawa FC from Transmara West Sub-county also reached the county finals after beating City Best 2-1 and Romosha 4-3 on penalties after 1-1 draw respectively.

In Narok East, newcomers Oletukat and Olkoroi made the cut. Oletukat sailed through following a 4-1 win against Duka Moja on spot kicks after the two sides shared spoils in a scoreless draw in the semi-finals.

Olkoroi on the other hand comfortably humbled Ilkiragarien 3-1.

The tournament’s coordinators, Moses Ntiyia and John Koilel, said two teams from the six sub-counties will proceed to the county finals which will climax on December 12 at the William Ole Ntimama Stadium. Six ladies teams will also Square it out for the ultimate cash prize of Sh500,000.
