Ruto says they are ready to face any election petition
Kenya's President-elect William Ruto has said his team is ready to face any court processes if his presidential victory is challenged. He spoke after his main rival in the recently concluded election Raila Odinga rejected the results. On Monday, the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission - IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati declared Ruto the winner of the 2022 presidential election with 50.49 of the vote.
