Results from Shirazi polling station were declared null and void by ODM Returning Officer Mcoremo Odoyo.

Speaking to journalists earlier in the day at Jogoo Grounds, Mr Boga said his competitors should brace for a tough battle come December 15.

“We will win this seat even if the Tangatanga team camps here,”said Mr Boga.

In an interview with the Nation, Mr Bader who ditched ODM to vie for the Msambweni parliamentary seat as an independent candidate refuted claims of being Dr Ruto's project.

“Running for the seat as an independent candidate should not be seen that I'm Ruto's project. I read malice in the ODM party and opted out, I urge my competitors to conduct peaceful campaigns, I am confident that I will carry the day,” he said.
