During that press conference, Labour Minister John Munyes, Turkana Central MP Ekwe Ethuro, and Mr Nanok defended the recent attack on law enforcers that claimed the lives of 37 policemen who were pursuing cattle rustlers in Baragoi.

On Friday the Turkana South legislator defied a summons by the CID to record a statement, saying that he would only record a statement if he was summoned in writing and accompanied by his lawyer.

During a press conference the Turkana South legislator vowed to continue with his usual routine as usual and dared the police to arrest him.
