6.15pm : Fidel's body moved from his house to the hearse, destined for Lee Funeral Home.

4.30pm : Fidel's friends who were reportedly out with him on Saturday currently recording a statement at Kilimani Police station.

4.07pm : Fidel's body still in his house, government pathologist arrived at about ten in the morning.

12.38pm: Chaotic scenes at the home of the late Fidel Odinga as rowdy youth demand to know the cause of death.

12:06pm: Mbadi says Fidel came back home last night and was found dead in the morning. Further arrangements will be made at his father's residence. The ODM chair also says they are awaiting the arrival of chief Government pathologist Dr Johannsen Oduor so that they get more information on what might have caused the death. The family pathologist is already at the scene. Mbadi was flanked by Raila's elder brother Oburu Oginga, legislators Edick Omondi Anyanga (Nyatike, ODM) and James Nyikal (Seme, ODM), nominated senator Elizabeth Ongoro (ODM), Eliud Owalo, among others.

12:04pm: ODM chairman John Mbadi addresses the press. Mbadi says Fidel spent the better part of yesterday (Saturday) with his father, mother and rest of the family. They were supposed to have lunch as a family but he excused himself saying he was supposed to have lunch with his friends and left.

11:14am: Retired politician Fred Gumo and former Nairobi mayor George Aladwa arrive at the scene.

10:45am: Scores of Cord leaders led by former vice President Kalonzo Musyoka, Siaya Senator James Orengo, nominated senator Elizabeth Ongoro at Fidel’s residence in Karen.

10:30am: The body yet to be moved to the Lee Funeral Home

10.28am: Raila Odinga’s family expected to address the press on the untimely death of their son anytime from now.
