Palm Breeze to host Jamhuri Day celebration shows

Solomon Kombo of Jambo Experience Band will be among the artistes who will entertain revelers Kenol’s Golden Palm Breeze Hotel in Muranga County this weekend.

The Jamhuri Day shows will also feature performances by Freshley Mwamburi of Stella fame and Joe Mopero who is well-known for the Heri Nyumbani song.

Kombo, who once performed with the Super Rhumba band, is best known for the Kambe Ndee, a song in Taita language, which tells the story of an irresponsible family man, who is infamous for his weekend escapades.

On his part, Mopero is currently working on a reggae remix version of Heri Nyumbani, which he says is due to demand from his fans.

Similarly, Mwamburi has also done a reggae remix version of his Stella hit song.

The three artiste said they intend to do renditions of the best of the Kikuyu oldies and oldies from other parts of Kenya during live shows at Palm Breeze Hotel. 

There will be plenty of drinks and African delicacies for patrons during the shows that starts at 6pm.
