Exclusive: DJ Mo and Size 8 say 'I Do' in a top-secret wedding

Gospel couple Samuel Muraya, better known as DJ Mo, and his wife, singer and pastor Size 8, have officially sealed their love in a highly secretive wedding, Nation Lifestyle can now exclusively reveal.

According to an anonymous source, the intimate ceremony is currently taking place at JS Meadows in Sigona on Kikuyu Nderi Road.

In a wedding invite seen by Nation Lifestyle, the couple invited friends and family "to share in the celebration of renewal of their vows."

The black-themed wedding is being attended by close family, friends and the crème de la crème of Kenya’s entertainment industry.

The hush-hush affair comes just days after DJ Mo went down on one knee on Valentine’s Day, proposing once again to the mother of his children—a grand gesture that now appears to have been a warm-up to this surprise wedding.

The MC of the event is MC Xtian Kenya.

The guest list? Exclusive.

The couple reportedly sent out invitations only to their tight-knit group, ensuring utmost privacy. No media was invited as the couple plans to break the news on their own terms.

Reunion after separation

DJ Mo and Size 8’s reunion follows a public separation in 2024, which kept fans guessing about their relationship status.

In a past interview with Nation Lifestyle, DJ Mo cryptically responded to divorce rumours, saying:

"About divorce, you should check our social media to know where we are. My wife can tell you if she filed. I cannot speak on something she said herself. But, I am very happy, and I am focusing on parenting. My children are thriving and staying away from scandals or issues."

Asked if they were still separated, DJ Mo said:

"No, we are not. We are just prioritising taking care of our kids together. My marriage didn’t end. We are still good friends. I cannot confirm that we have separated, but we also don’t judge each other on many things."

"When people see us together, they might think we are back together. But really, we are just co-parenting. We have always worked well together, not just because we were married, but because we have always been good friends first. A relationship doesn’t necessarily work just because two people are married. It works because there’s chemistry and mutual respect."

Now, just weeks later, it appears that their friendship has rekindled into a wedding.
