Popular deejay Joe Mfalme has landed a new gig at the recently launched music channel Trace Mziki becoming the only Kenyan disc jockey (so far) to get a slot on the network. Mfalme will have an hour long pre-recorded show every Saturday entertaining East Africa fans. While this is a first for him and could be considered something to perhaps brag about, Mfalme is being cool about it.

“It’s a job like any other that I’m getting paid for. There are so many deejays in Kenya, there’s no point of bragging,” he said.

Trace Mziki is scheduled to hit screens in September.
