Moran publishers have rolled out a series of Bible Stories intended to be used in Christian Religious Education (CRE) lessons in primary schools.

The books are divided into two levels: level one for lower primary and level two for upper primary.

In this particular text, as the Holy Bible tells us, Jacob and Esau, sons of Isaac and Rebecca, were twin brothers who, ironically, had clashing personalities that led them to fight for their father’s blessings.

This series is definitely going to add a lot of value to the teaching of the Bible in schools particularly in lower classes.

Pupils will enjoy reading the Bible stories, which are presented in simple English and tackle various Bible topics in a very interesting way.

They are also full of colour illustrations and on the back of each book, there are questions and answers on the story to test pupil’s understanding of the stories.

Each book provides a glossary on new words and their meanings to help young readers understand the stories better.
