Man, wife found murdered in their Molo home

A couple was found murdered at Total village in May Summit, Molo in Nakuru County on Friday night.

The bodies of Wilfred Kimaita, 70 and his wife Hannah Muthoni, 50, were found lying in a pool of blood in their house on Saturday morning.

While confirming the incident, area Chief Kuria Mburu said the bodies had deep cuts on the heads, necks and torsos.

Mr Mburu said that the man’s body was found lying on the floor while that of his wife was on the bed.

Speaking to the Nation, Mr Mburu said the couple's bodies were discovered by their son Mr Mureithi Kimaita, on Saturday morning.   

"I got suspicious when I discovered that all the doors were open," said Mr Mureithi.

The bodies were moved to Molo Sub-County Hospital mortuary.
