Activists urge police to produce missing MCA arrested over Baringo violence

  • Mr Olempaka said that upon visiting Mogotio Police Station, he was informed that Mr Parkei had been transferred to Menengai Police Station in Nakuru, but police denied the same.
  • He blamed politicians for the fighting that occurred in the area and called on the leaders in the area to exercise restraint and preach peace.
  • Mr Olempaka called on the government to beef up security in the area.

Human rights activists in Baringo County have put pressure on security agencies to reveal the whereabouts of Mukutani Ward Member of County Assembly who was arrested on Friday for allegedly inciting the Ichamus and Tugen communities to violence.
