Star of the Sea High School was similarly closed following reports of positive tests.

Reliable sources told the Nation that at least eight people were reported to have returned positive results at Tononoka Secondary School while four cases were reported at Star of the Sea High School.

In a letter, Star of the Sea High School said learning at the school had been temporarily suspended for fumigation.
