Tremor hits parts of Meru, Embu and Tharaka-Nithi

  • The tremor occurred at around 11.30pm and was felt in parts of Meru, Embu and Tharaka-Nithi counties.
  • Some people who called the Nation said they were jolted in their beds as they slept.
  • Kenyans made enquiries on social media regarding the reported tremors.
  • Mr Nguyo said he was contacting officials on the ground to get more information on the reported tremor.

An earth tremor hit parts of eastern region on Sunday night, throwing residents into shock and panic but no damages or injuries were reported.
