Former Kathiani MP Wavinya Ndeti mourns husband’s death

Former Kathiani MP Wavinya Ndeti is mourning the death of her husband Dolamu Henry Oduwole.

According to a message Ms Ndeti which posted on her Facebook page, Mr Oduwale who had been ailing, died on Sunday morning.

“I am deeply saddened to announce the demise of my beloved husband who passed on early this morning.

“He fought a good fight and as a family we pray that God will grant us strength to endure this devastating loss.

“May God grant my families in Kenya and Nigeria, our friends, partners and the people of Machakos a comforting hand during this trying time. Rest well my darling till we meet again,” Ms Ndeti said in her mesaage.

On learning the sad news, leaders who sent their messages of condolences to Ms Ndeti.

Machakos County governor Dr Alfred Mutua and former Cabinet Minister Charity Ngilu were among the first leaders to send their condolences.

“On my behalf and that of the Mbaitu FM fraternity, we stand with the family to share this [in] profound loss and pray to the almighty God to give them strength to bear the loss of a loved one,” Mrs Ngilu said.

“May the Lord grant Hon Ndeti and her family the strength to bear the loss of her loving husband,” said Dr Mutua in a statement.
