Raila gives Tobiko three-day ultimatum to name those involved in Eurobond saga

What you need to know:

  • Mr Odinga said it was time the government revealed to Kenyans how the Eurobond money was spent saying the country will not be taken for a ride.
  • In his statement, Mr Tobiko however said his office will conduct an independent investigation into the EACC report regarding the loss of Sh140 billion as indicated by Mr Odinga.
  • On Saturday, the ODM leader insisted that no single cent from the Eurobond proceeds was deposited in the Kenyan accounts including at the Central Bank of Kenya adding that CBK Governor Patrick Njoroge can even attest to that.

The Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (Cord) leader Raila Odinga has given the Director of Public Prosecution Keriako Tobiko three days to name those involved in the Eurobond saga, failure to which, he will publicly mention them.
