What you need to know:

  • As you have reported at the earlier stages of the Covid-19 pandemic, Madagascar discovered Covid-19 antibiotics based on indigenous plants.

Today in History

The appearance of historical photos on the letters page in the Nation is welcome although they reduce the space.

The title “Today in History” is very fitting but it would be good to know the whereabouts of some of the people pictured.

Biden pledges

I read the article “Many await Biden pledges” (Daily Nation, Nov. 11, 2020) with great expectations but I was disappointed. It did not identify various domestic and geopolitical issues and delve into Biden’s long tenure in politics and leadership to inform his stand and the benefit US and the world will reap from his election.

Conversely, there was no contrast with Trump’s stand on the same issues and the article did not show the harm that has befallen the US and the world in his term.

Damn sticker

Kindly pass my frustration to the management regarding that small orange sticker that is meant to prevent readers from opening the Nation before peeling it off. On two occasions now I have accidentally torn my newspaper as I tried to open it oblivious of the sticker. It annoys. The damn sticker is adamant. It does not peel off so easily and it can even damage the paper more. I hate it. I see no value.
