Poverty data should be wake-up call to leaders

Kenya National Bureau of Statistics (KNBS), in a survey released on Friday, states that the number of Kenyans living in abject poverty has risen by 15 percentage points from 38.9 per cent in 2014 to 53 per cent in 2018.
